Coast to Coast Cycle Route (C2C)

National cycleway climbs from Penrith up into the Cumbrian Pennines over Hartside to Alston and Gargill.

Heather Glen is situated close to the village of Renwick which is often used as an alternative route to the slog up the A686 to Hartside as the roads are much quieter and the scenery stunning.
