We discuss the superb range of dishes and assist in tailor making your Wedding Breakfast Menu.  This is our sample menu, devised by our         Head Chef along with his very experienced team,  who are happy to consider any other dishes you may wish, as long as they may be served perfectly to your guests.   


Choose either homemade vegetable, tomato or broccoli & stilton soup
Made with local seasonal vegetables

Chilled melon with fresh strawberries
Finished with lemon sorbet

Chili meatballs served on a tomato and basil sauce
With a warm crusty roll

Smooth liver pate with Cumberland sauce
Served with a warm crusty roll

Sauted mushrooms in an herb garlic cream sauce
Served with a warm crusty roll

Smoked salmon with prawns, and salad garnish
Dressed with Marie rose sauce

Oven baked camembert with sun blush tomato and basil wrapped in filo pastry
Served with salad garnish


Hand selected topside of Eden Valley Beef
with Yorkshire pudding & mild creamed horseradish tartlet

Lakeland Lamb Joint
served with a redcurrant tartlet and mint sauce

Roast fillet of Cumbrian Pork
topped with herb crust and served on Calvados sauce

Oven baked fresh Scottish Salmon
finished with a choice of White wine and prawn sauce,
or topped with bacon and sweet peppers

Kirk Oswald Cumberland Sausage
award winning sausage set on a bed of mash served with red wine and onion gravy

Fillet of chicken served as one of the following:
Pan fried topped with cheddar cheese and leek cream sauce 
 Stuffed with Border Haggis, wrapped in smoked bacon
and finished with a Drambuie cream sauce 
Chargrilled coated with a white wine, mushroom and oregano cream sauce 
Pan fried in white wine, asparagus and sage cream sauce 

Golden Sweet Potato Cakes
with cheddar cheese and leek, served on a fresh tomato salsa

All served with seasonal vegetables
